ABOUT THE PROJECT
This is a freelance project, 5 weeks in duration, expected to start in late September, for a client in the blockchain and crypto ecosystem with a strong focus on DeFi. As this role involves direct communication with the client, advanced English is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and build cross-platform (iOS and Android) features on React Native, with a focus on performance, stability, and scalability.
Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate features tied to the product's blockchain/Web3 ecosystem, as applicable.
Implement robust security practices for handling authentication and sensitive user data.
Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions, contributing to a culture of engineering excellence.
Work closely with product design to ensure a smooth, consistent experience across both platforms.
REQUIREMENTS
4+ years of React Native development experience, with strong command of TypeScript/JavaScript.
Solid experience with state management (Redux, Zustand, Context API), navigation (React Navigation), and native modules (bridging to iOS/Android when needed).
Experience integrating REST/GraphQL APIs and working with client-server architectures.
Advanced English, required for direct communication with the client.
NICE TO HAVE
Prior experience on projects within the blockchain/Web3 ecosystem (wallets, on-chain integrations, or similar).
Knowledge of security standards for apps handling digital assets.
