ABOUT THE ROLE
A Sr. Web Designer at ++hellohello works under the direction of the Design Director and a Lead Designer, crafting digital experiences that raise the bar for what a website can be.
They're passionate about the web. Their focus ranges from high-end marketing sites to complex product interfaces. They bring strong visual instincts, a deep understanding of layout and interaction, and the craft to execute at the highest level of quality.
They work autonomously and proactively, collaborating with a team of talented Designers, Brand Designers, Motion Designers, Developers, and Project Managers. They're in direct contact with clients, meet deadlines, and present their work with confidence.
We've won multiple awards including Awwwards, FWA, and Latin American Design Awards, and we hope you'll help us win even more.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Design high-quality web experiences, from marketing sites to complex product interfaces.
Exceptional attention to layout, typography, and interaction.
Translate brand direction and creative concepts into digital environments that feel cohesive, alive, and award-worthy.
Clear understanding of UX, usability, accessibility, and web best practices.
Define interaction patterns, UI systems, and component libraries that scale.
Collaborate closely with Developers to ensure what gets built matches what was designed, down to the last detail.
Define and defend the structure of a website and how it serves the project's objectives.
Strong knowledge of storytelling and narrative in web experiences.
Prototype animations and interactions that elevate the experience without losing sight of functionality.
Work across multiple projects simultaneously with full autonomy and accountability.
Use AI to improve and extend your design workflow, generating functional prototypes or creative code experiments, among other things.
Stay on top of trends in web design, interaction, and technology, and share what you find with the team.
Present, argue, and defend your work in front of clients and colleagues, rationally and strategically.
Incorporate feedback openly and collaborate with team members and clients.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
6+ years of experience in web and UI design.
A portfolio with undeniable visual quality that demonstrates extensive experience in web projects.
Strong mastery of layout, typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy applied to the web.
Proficiency in Figma: design, prototyping, and component systems.
Experience working closely with front-end developers and understanding technical constraints.
Fluent use of AI to improve your workflow.
Knowledge of interaction design and animation principles.
Strong English, written and spoken.
Deeply creative, proactive, and genuinely curious.
Committed to quality and always pushing for excellence.
Believes design is more than what appears on a screen.

NICE TO HAVE
Experience or genuine interest in brand identity design. The more you understand brand, the better your web work.
Knowledge of Creative Coding, Three.js, P5.js.
Knowledge of After Effects, Lottie, or other animation tools for the web.
Familiarity with Webflow or Framer for implementation.
Experience in 3D modeling or generative design.
Knowledge of Creative Writing.
